The new location is great. Tons of space and a really nice diner.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Can get breakfast until 4pm on the weekend! A little drive to get there but worth it. Quite busy but lots of seating! I will be a repeat customer. Breakfast buffet is Delicious!

Do yourself a favor and try one of their omelets as well as their hash browns. Have yet to find anything comparable in the Quad Cities and I take my breakfast seriously. Jimmy's (good not great), Duck Creek (meh), Tommy's (good not great), Mary Sue's (very good), Ross' (pass), Village Inn (gross) etc.. have been to them all and this is by far the best. The place is constantly busy in the mornings but the staff has always done a pretty good job when I've been there. It's in a nice little spot and definitely doesn't smell like the gentlemen below mentioned. Every time I take a new person there, they come away happy. Will definitely stop in again when I am in the area!

Best breakfasts anywhere. Hashbrowns, omlets, pancakes, etc. are all excellent. The roast beef and fried chicken dinners are also very good. Service has always been good as Mickey hires good employees.

Don't eat breakfast here anymore. Food is never prepared correctly. Smell is awful inside as well. Our new go-to place is Duck Creek Pancake just up the street.

My wife and I stopped by Mickey's for breakfast and we were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess and found the ambiance to be very cheery and something out of a Normal Rockwell painting. My wife ordered a patty melt and fries and she described it as juicy and flavorful -- a perfect patty melt. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs (on top). It was also perfection -- not too little or too much flavor from the gravy and the biscuits were done just right to allow for maximum absorption from the gravy. The eggs I ordered over medium and they were right on. If you are in the area, I readily recommend giving Mickey's a try.

I had to stop by Mickey's on a recent visit "home" to the Quad Cities, and was not disappointed. Both Bill & Mickey (the owners) and Mark (the breakfast chef) came out to visit. The wait staff could probably use a rule of "no cell phones when on the clock", but overall this was great. The food was the ultimate comfort food. So tasty. Love the decor, and was very happy to come just after the rush. Will definitely be back when I come "home" again.

We went Friday night for the all you can eat fried catfish and salad bar. For 12 dollars it was a great deal just for even the catfish, but it included a small salad bar with salad, pasta and broccoli salad, cole slaw, fruit, and two kinds of soup. Catfish was fried perfectly. Crispy but not overcooked. Our waitress was very nice too.

Yum! Blueberries or peaches with oatmeal.

I've been there 3 times for breakfast. The food is subpar. Depending on the day, you might get clean dishes. The owners seem nice though.

We had the cod and chicken fried steak sandwich. The cod looked like microwaved fish nuggets they were not bad but not worth the price. The chicken fried steak sandwich was horrible. The bun was soggy and the steak was hard and cold. The tomatoes that came on the sandwich were soggy and gross. We also had the salad bar the ranch tasted bad and the soups were un covered very unsanitary. The only good part was the egg sandwich that my mother in law had. Very disappointed in this place and will never be returning.

We liked everything. Nice small salad bar with very good soups. American fries were excellent. Prices are very reasonable, service was good also. We will diffently stop again next time we are in that area.

We went in for breakfast Saturday morning. The 2 girls we saw were texting on their cell phones. By the time we got our food it was cold. She went right back to texting and I had to tell her the food was cold. She took it off the table and said she would stick it in the microwave for bit. The sausage patties were grissely. The hash browns were rubbery probably the microwave. The ketchup was good! We will not be returning.

A diner with a great breakfast. Their hash browns are perfect. Crispy outside, but you can still pull them apart. They are not just a clump of potatoes. Great omelets too. Tuesdays they have an ok taco bar. Lunch and dinner are ok, but they excel at breakfast. Very nice staff and friendly. They have retained their quality and style since the move from along duck creek.

Breakfast nothing short of perfection. Worth going out of your way for, and only 10-15 minutes off either 80 or 74 along State St/Great River Rd. Very clean, spacious compared to most restaurants where tables are almost piled on top of eacjh other. I ordered crisp baco and over easy eggs, and crisp hash brown potatoes. I was a breakfast cook in my college days and know what those directions should mean to a cook. He knew. Not only was it cooked perfectly, but delivered hot and made from quality and fresh ingredients. We stopped back there the same evening for dinner, with the same results.

I don't know what's so great about this place, but I really wanted sausage links instead of the patties, but since we were there on the weekday we had to have the patties. I thought they tasted kind of dry & grissly. The salad bar didn't look that good & very small if you ask me. Service was extremely slow & they weren't that busy,so go figure! I think the young waitresses chit chat too much & that's why are food took forever, also the young cook burt our first round & had to do it again. Don't think we'll be back. There's other places that are just as good! I heard Jimmy's pancake house in Bettendorf is awesome!!!!

Food and service have really dropped off since moving to the new location

Stopped by there for breakfast on Tuesday, 11/22/11. It was closed. I was told by someone in the parking lot that the place had closed. They were not sure if it had moved.
